The Other Media and All India Coordinating Forum of Adivasis/Indigenous People are jointly doing this research that seeks to put together a status report on the state of Adivasis/Indigenous Peoples in India. Under the first phase of the programme papers on issues of land and mining in states with significant adivasis/indigenous peoples policies have been put together.
By the end of 2008 The Other Media plans to bring out papers on land and mining in about ten different states of India. The programme also has helped to strengthen the network of people engaged in activism, research, advocacy on Adivasis/Indigenous Peoples issues. As a part of the program statistical and selected secondary data on issues relevant to the program has been put together. Follow Link.
